Women's InitiativeThe firm's Women's Initiative actively fosters and expands business contacts and opportunities to enhance the professional development of its female attorneys. “As a volunteer organization, the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) needs the help of its members to create the educational forum and be the active voice for the concerns of women in the legal profession. Duane Morris lawyers help us focus on our mission by supporting us with great legal advice. NAWL has long turned to Duane Morris for intellectual property matters regarding everything from filing and maintaining trademark and copyright applications/registrations to drafting license agreements, accessing potential infringement claims and counseling on enforcement of NAWL's valuable trademark and copyright rights. Recently, Duane Morris obtained trademark registration for the tagline 'The Voice of Women in the Law' and the name 'From Backpack to Briefcase' for NAWL's revolutionary transition program for law students.
